Mr. Jack F. Daniel of McDonough passed away Feb. 11 at Rockdale Medical Center. The son of Jim and Ethel Watson Daniel, he was born in 1934 in Porterdale. He was retired from Georgia Power as a claim adjuster after many years of service. Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mary Christine Daniel, and was a loving father and grandfather.

Mr. Daniel is survived by daughters Chris Shelton of McDonough, Kim Maddox of McDonough; grandchildren Stephanie Housworth, Eric Shelton, Blake Maddox, Ivey Maddox all of McDonough; brother Clarence Daniel. He is preceded in death by wife Mary Christine Darby Daniel and parents Jim and Ethel Watson Daniel.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 13, in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with the Rev. Alex Stroud officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
