RAGSDALE

Mr. Horace "Buddy" Ragsdale, Jr. age 73 of Newborn died Sunday, May 17, 2009. He was born April 27, 1936 in Fulton County to the late Horace Edwin and Evelyn (Elliott) Ragsdale Sr. Moving here from Lithonia 14 years ago, Buddy worked as a self-employed truck driver. He is preceded in death by his wife Betty Ragsdale.

Mr. Ragsdale is survived by two daughters: Suzanne Johnston of Hampton and Annette Munoz of Newborn; sister: Margie Hazelrigs of Yorkville; brothers: Jimmy Ragsdale and Joe Ragsdale of Smyrna; 5 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends at Wheeler Funeral Home from 11:00-1:00PM, Thursday, May 21, 2009. Graveside services will be at 1:00 at Lawnwood Memorial Park with Rev. Jeffrey Perkins officiating.
