Mr. Harvey Lee Anglin, age 83, of Covington passed away March 31, 2015.  He was born September 1, 1931 in Atlanta, Georgia to Albert Thomas and Elizabeth Payne Anglin.  Mr. Anglin enjoyed racing and is a member of The Georgia Racing Hall of Fame.  He raced at the Peach Bowl, Lakewood and Sonoma.  Mr. Anglin retired from General Motors and was a member of UAW Local 34.  Mr. Anglin was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who together with his wife personified family and were role models for not only their family but for all that were blessed to know them.  He was preceded in death his wife Emily Anglin in 2013. Mr. Anglin is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Kathy Anglin; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Bob Daniel, all of Covington; grandchildren, John and Robin Anglin, Chris and Brandy Anglin, Brandon and Sara Daniel, Dustin Daniel; great-grandchildren, Talon Anglin, Katelyn Anglin, Ava Anglin, Cameron Anglin; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and James Williams of Smyrna; along with other family and friends.Funeral Services for Mr. Anglin will be held at 11 o’clock Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Daniel officiating.  Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, April 2, 2015.  J.C.
