Harold “Hal” Lee Stapp Jr., of Porterdale, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017 at the age of 45. He was born in Covington to the late Harold Sr. and Flora Raydene Stapp.

Hal loved being a truck driver, and working for Joker Unlimited Trucking. He was very proud of his hometown of Porterdale and the people in it. Hal was a loving son, brother, uncle and a friend to all who knew him. He was a simple man, with a simple plan.

Hal is survived by his step-mother Paula Stapp, step-father Tommy Thomason, sisters and brothers in law Dawn Flanigan and Clayton Mudd, Donna and Steve Pierce, brothers Wesley Stapp, Tony Thompson, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
