Gracie Lew Whitley of Covington died Jan. 28. The daughter of the late Ernest and Grace Rogers Gober, she was born in 1939 in Covington. Mrs. Whitley was a member of North Covington United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Barnette Whitley.
Surviving are daughter Charlotte Parish of Kirbyville, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and close friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Jan. 30, at Lawnwood Memorial Park with Dr. John Whatley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thkursday, Jan. 29. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Covington United Church.
