Gloria Witcher, 73 of Covington, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015. She was born in Cedartown to the late William and Clara Davis Benefield. Gloria had a strong sense of family and her life will be remembered for the children she raised. Her treasure was her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas L. Witcher.

Gloria is survived by her children Marie Lott of Covington, Tom Witcher of Covington, David Witcher of Danville, Virginia, Robert Witcher of Covington, Crystal White of Painesville, Ohio, and Christina Juergens of Covington; grandchildren Joshua, Amber, Elyse, Mitchell, Annabelle, Lawson, Nathan and Hanson; sister Doris Strickland of Covington; brothers Billy Benefield of Felton, and Gary Benefield of Buchanan.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Nolan Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until time of service.
