Eula Harmon, 89 of Covington passed away February 13, 2016. Mrs. Harmon retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Covington and the Gleaners Sunday School Class. Mrs. Harmon was a Newton Medical Center Auxiliary volunteer for 20 years, and she enjoyed volunteering at the Cinderella Shop. She loved being around people, playing bridge, and she cherished the time spent with family. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Harmon; as well as her parents, two sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Mike Forester of Alpharetta; grandchildren, Matthew and Kelly Forester, Michael Forester, Daniel Forester, Elizabeth and Jon Mark Campbell, Rebekah Forester, Anna Forester; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Hudson Campbell, Katherine and Caroline Forester all of Birmingham, AL; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and John Hughes; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Alida Reid; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Harmon will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2016, 2 p.m., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington, Pastor Charles Reynolds officiated. Entombment will followed in Memory Chapel Mausoleum at Lawnwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 1139 Usher Street, Covington, GA 30014.
