Eugene "Gene" Johnson, 69, of Oxford, died Feb. 21. A cattle farmer and member of Piedmont Cattleman's Association, Mr. Johnson was retired from the city of Covington and was a member of Corinth Christian Church.
Surviving are wife Shirley Johnson; Daughter Cindy Johnson; sister Lynette Forrester, all of Oxford; several nieces.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 24 at Corinth Christian Church, Loganville, with Minister Don Hardison, Minister Lester Waters and the Rev. Vester Maughon officiating. Interment followed at Corinth Memorial gardens. Please sign the on-line guest registry at www.stewartfh.com.
