Mr. Eric Ellington, age 57, of Monticello formerly of Covington passed away March 24, 2015.  He was born June 1, 1957 in Covington, Georgia to Charles Aaron and Nellie Wilkerson Ellington who have preceded him in death.  Mr. Ellington retired from Golden State Foods in Conyers.  He loved to travel, enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family. 

Mr. Ellington is survived by his wife of 20 years Sherry Ellington, his children; Eric Ellington (Christa Blevins) of Covington, Chris Reece (Brittany Jones) and Michael Ellington all of Monticello his grandchildren; Autumn Ellington, Shelby Word and Austin Crumbly along with numerous other family and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Ledford officiating.  Interment will follow at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2015.  J.C.
