Edna Flo Walden (Pug), 87, of Covington, passed away Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Atlanta. She was born in Oxford to the late Claude and Dovie (Rodgers) Ellis.
Pug was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She enjoyed sewing and loved going to Panama City, Florida.
In addition to her parents, Pug is preceded in death by her husband, John T. Walden (Nat); daughter, Connie Henderson; several brothers and a sister. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Jeff Anderson of Mansfield; sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Sarah Walden, Tommy and Linda Walden, Larry and Janet Walden, Jerald and Gail Walden, all of Covington; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Agneeze McCart of Oxford; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 22 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Walden officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until time of service.
