Ms. Dorothy Charlene Wilborn “Dot” died Dec. 10. The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman (Stella Manuel) Glover, she was born in 1933 in Newton County, the oldest of seven children. She was preceded in death by brothers Alfonso Glover and Willie Ralph Glover. Ms. Wilborn was raised and educated in Newton County. Always a hard worker, she was gainfully employed by Bibb Manufacturing Company for 33 years. Ms. Wilborn was the proud mother of two children whom she adored. She was a very friendly and out-going person; her generosity and her kindness toward others won her many friends. She will always be remembered for her radiant smile.

Surviving are children Mr. Bobby Joe Key of Newborn and Ms. Estella Ann Glover of Covington; grandchildren Tabius Glover of Newborn and Marissa Brown of Covington; brother  Mr. and Mrs. Norman (Mardean) Glover; sisters Mrs. Martha Reese, Mrs. Margaret Smith and Mrs. Diane Belcher; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and dear friends.

Funeral  services will be at 1 p.m. today, Dec. 16, at Bethel Grove Baptist Church, Mansfield with Pastor Theodis Bell officiating. Interment will follow at  Bethabara Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
