Mrs. Dorothy (Dot) Campbell Hill, 90, of Rockmart, Ga., passed away on Friday, April 15.
Mrs. Hill was born on Dec. 28, 1920, in Polk County, daughter of the late John Campbell and the late Etta Akins Campbell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Second Baptist Church of Rockmart. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Robert Edwin "Ed" Hill on November 6, 2008.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Beth Williams of Conyers and Patricia Ann Guerrero of Rockmart; and a brother, Mac Campbell. Six grandchildren and 11great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hill will be held on Monday, April 18 at noon in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral with the Rev. Gerald Rogers and the Rev. David Warriner officiating. Interment services will follow at 3 p.m. in the family lot of the South View Cemetery of Covington. The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: Robert Bannister, Jack Waits, Chris Cox, Brent Moss, Johnny Powell and Don Tate.
