Doris Elizabeth Crowell of Covington, GA died Thursday December 15, 2011 at the Benton House.  She was born on March 18, 1921 in Covington, GA to Jack and Lula Greene Moore. She enjoyed working in her garden,canning and freezing the produce.  She also loved to sew.

Mrs. Crowell is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Mary and Billy Haynes of Covington, GA; daughters: Brenda White and Tana Joe Fiddie, both of Covington, GA; son and daughter-in-law: Lyn and Melinda Marable of Mansfield, GA; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Billie D. Crowell.

Services will be held in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 2:00PM with Andy Parker officiating.  Interment will be at Covington City Cemetery.
