Don Harrison of Covington, GA died Monday February 6, 2012 at Rockdale Health Care Center.  He was born on January 22, 1937 in Porterdale, GA to Goldie Arthur and Ruth Underwood Harrison. He was a member of Porterdale Baptist Church and the Elks Club. He was retired from General Motors after 34 years of service. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and loved to fish.

Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife Peggy S. Harrison, of Covington, GA; sister Jean and Richard Henderson of Covington, GA; sister and brother-in-law Charles and Sandra Rooks of Jackson, GA; sister-in-law Barbara Brown of Covington, GA; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Goldie Arthur Harrison and Ruth Underwood Hewell.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday February 8, 2012 in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev Dickie Johnson officiating.  Interment will be at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
