David “Eddie” Greenwell of Oxford, passed away August 16, 2011, at At Home Hospice in Conyers.  He was 53 years old at the time of his death.

Mr. Greenwell is survived by his son, Clinton Edward Greenwell of Oxford; mother, Elida A. Tanner also of Oxford; sister, Mary Malouin of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Charles Greenwell of Gainesville, Robert Lee Tanner of Waseca, MN, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased at 329 West Bonnell Street, Oxford, GA, Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M.  The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
