Mr. Darrel "Slick" Lewis Hardeman passed away on January 21, 2013. He was born on September 14, 1961 in Newton County, Covington, Georgia to the late Mr. Curtis Hardeman, Sr. and Mrs. Mamie Hardeman.
He attended Newton County High School. He was baptized at Early Hope Baptist Church at an early age.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Curtis Hardeman, Sr., grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Alonza Thrasher and Mr. & Mrs. Johnny Kyle Hardeman.
Darrel leaves to cherish his memories, mother, Mrs. Mamie Ruth Hardeman, two sons, Mr. Darien Hardeman, Mr. Darrel Hardeman, four brothers, Mr. & Mrs. Johnny (Rosemary) Hardeman, Mr. & Mrs. Curtis (Dorothy) Hardeman, Jr., Mr. & Mrs. Larry (Natasha) Hardeman and Mr. & Mrs. David (Shirleen) Hardeman, five sisters, Ms. Sarah Hardeman, Mr. & Mrs. Larry (Cynthia) Norman, Mr. & Mrs. Johnny (Teresa) Freeman, Mr. & Mrs. Curtis (Stephanie) Crawford and Ms. Casheral Hardeman and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 25, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Early Hope Baptist Church, 1129 Rocky Plain Road, Covington, Georgia. Rev. Kenneth Williams, Pastor
