Constance Graves, 77 years old of Covington, died March 8, 2015 at Abby Hospice following a courageous battle with cancer.
Constance was one of eleven children, born July 31, 1937 in Covington, to the late Ellis E. and Bertha Swords McDaniel. She worked administratively in the Oncology department for Emory University for many years. She was also a member of the Holy Cross Anglican Church in Loganville.
In addition to her parents Constance is preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her loving children, son; Vincent Alan Graves and his wife Diane of Dallas, daughter; Baerta Clare Graff of Central, South Carolina, daughter; Mary Catherine Gilpin and her husband Kenny of Grayson, grandchildren; Madeline Elaina McNeeley of Atlanta, Matthew Alan McNeeley of Atlanta, Erin Danielle Graves of Rockmart, Ian Winn Graves of Dallas and Alexander Graff Levin of Central, South Carolina, brother; Kenneth McDaniel and his wife Lily of Covington, numerous other relatives and loving friends.
A Memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Holy Cross Anglican Church, 3836 Oak Grove Rd., Loganville, GA. Pastor John Tomlinson will be officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00pm to service time.
