Clark L. Gregg of Covington, passed away June 7, 2010, at the age of 64. Most important to Mr. Gregg was spending time with his family, friends, and grandchildren. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed Nascar racing, the Atlanta Falcons, fishing, and customizing his Dodge Charger for racing. Mr. Gregg liked country music, and enjoyed attending safety meetings at PBG. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clark and Kathleen (Crist) Gregg. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie (Thompson) Gregg of Covington; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanie and Michael Whitehead of Covington, Julie and Frankie McLendon of Cleveland, GA; sons, Clark Lyn Gregg, II, Christopher Scott Gregg, both of Covington; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Frank Fambrough of Conyers, Ann Capes of McDonough; brothers and sister-in-law, Dave Gregg, Jim and Donna Gregg, all of Covington. Funeral Services for Mr. Gregg will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Rd., with Rev. Danny Standard officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, June 8, from 6–8 PM.
