Clarence Morgan Allgood Jr., 65, of Social Circle, died on July 6. He was born in Athens in 1947, the son of the late Clarence Morgan Allgood Sr. and the late Geneva Thompson Allgood.

Surviving are sister Loutitia Phelps of Social Circle; stepson Matt and Kim Gunnin of Covington; nieces Tonya and Myron Wallace of Social Circle, Teresa and Scott Davis of Good Hope, Toisha and Jason Walden of Jersey; step-grandchildren Cord Gunnin and Conner Gunnin; great-nieces Morgan Gowler and Raylee Walden; great-nephews Tanner Davis and Shelby Davis; and many friends and loved ones.

Funeral services were held July 9 at the chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Head officiating.
