Mr. Christopher Ray “Bubba” Tomlin, age 58 of Williamson, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mr. Tomlin was born April 5, 1959 in Covington, son of the late Ray George Tomlin and the late Sybil Lee Mobley Tomlin Davis. He was the owner/operator of T&T Meats, Inc. for 38 years.  Mr. Tomlin enjoyed vacationing in Panama City Beach and loved boating, fishing, hunting, old cars, flying remote control planes, NASCAR and was an avid Bulldogs fan.  He loved his family, had tremendous faith in God and never met a stranger.

Survivors include his wife, Wylene Payton Tomlin; sons & daughter-in-law, Christopher Andrew Tomlin of Social Circle and Larry Dee, Jr. & Ashley B. Payton of Griffin; grandson, Tristan Eli Payton; sister & brother-in-law, Wanda & Wayne Liles of Concord; brother & sister-in-law, Steven C. & Amy Tomlin of Senoia; aunt, Judy & Ronald Martin of Covington; several nieces & nephews and special family friend, Glenda Sewell of Atlanta.

Funeral services for Mr. Christopher Ray “Bubba” Tomlin will be held Friday, June 23, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home.  Friends may visit the family from 12 – 2 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Sunnyside Baptist Church Cemetery.
