Mr. Chris Costley, 59, of Decatur, passed away on April 21. He was preceded in death by parents Virgil Costley Sr. and Urlene Blankenship Costley. Mr. Costley was born in 1951 in Conyers. He was a 1969 graduate of Newton County High School and attended West Georgia College and also Emory of Oxford College. He worked in retail merchandise as a clerk in Buckhead.

He is survived by companion of twenty years Kathleen Donegan, Decatur; brothers and sister-in-law, Trent Costley, Buford, and Virgil and Linda Costley, Covington; and several nieces and nephews.

The remains have been cremated and there will be no formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Child Welfare Foundation in memory of Chris Costley.
