Cheryl Lynn Harris Monis, 56 of Loganville, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at home. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA. to the late Bill Harris and Loretta Jamison Harris. Mrs. Monis has lived in the Loganville, GA. area for over 22 years. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother Mike Harris.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Gordon Monis of Loganville; mother Loretta Harris; daughters Michelle Sanders of Eufaula, Al., Kasey Baker of Loganville. and Amber (Chris) Hardy of Macon; five grandchildren, brother Darrell (Esther) Harris of Eufaula, Alabama; sisters Teresa (Ricky) Gardener of Eufaula, Alabama and Kathy Thurman of Heflin, Alabama; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 29, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Johnson officiating, with entombment to follow immediately after the service at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 5 p.m.–7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Georgia Equine Rescue League Georgia Equine Rescue League, P.
