Charles Thomas “Chuck” Cartledge, of Covington, passed away March 14, 2014, at the age of 52.

He was an Elvis fanatic and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gambling. He loved spending time with his family and traveling. 

Mr. Cartledge was preceded in death by his brother, James Aaron Bell.

 Survivors include his parents, Robert and Evelyn Bell of Covington; sister and brother-in-law, Robyn and Stacey White of Covington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Cindy Cartledge of Dalton, Ga., Ricky and Nora Cartledge of Cleveland, Tenn., Robby and Christy Bell of Covington; nieces and nephews, Nick White, Ashley White, Hunter White, Taylor White, Cameron Cartledge, Megan Lane, Brandon Cartledge, Tiffany Cason, Makenzie Bell, Caitlyn Bell, Hailee Bell, Ryan Bell; several great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Chuck Cartledge will be held Tuesday, March 18, 4 p.m., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Pastor Stan Patterson officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, March 17, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. 6 p.m.-8 p.m.  Outside of the specified visitation hours, the family welcomes visitors to their home.
