Mr. William (Bill) Hinton, 73, of Collinsville, Miss., died on Jan. 4. He was born in Jersey in 1939, the son of Cora Knight Hinton and William Allen Hinton. He was preceded in death by his daughter Cindy Hinton and sisters Ruby Dell Bryan and Alline Johnson.

Surviving are sister and brother-in-law Donnie and Roy Conner of Monroe; nieces LeAnn Hart and Becky Teague; nephews Terrell Bryan and Ferald Bryan, Ph.D.; great-niece and -nephews Amanda Craven, William Craven, Jeremy Craven, Caleb Bryan and Terry Bryan; and a great-great-niece Ava Bryan.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. today, Jan. 9, at Jersey Holiness Church with the Rev. Lynn Head and the Rev. Randall Allgood officiating. Interment will follow at Jersey Holiness Church Cemetery.
