Mrs. Betty Beagin, age 65, of Porterdale passed away November 9, 2012.  She was born November 20, 1946 in Houston, Alabama to the late James Troy and Laura Henderson.  Mrs. Beagin enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family especially her great granddaughter McKenzii.

Mrs. Beagin is survived by her children; Keith and Stacie Beagin of San Diego, California, Laurel and David Altwies of Monticello and Maria Ketchum of Covington along with her brothers and sister; Gene Henderson of Alabama, Benny Henderson of Smyrna, Georgia and Evelyn Ivey of Arkansas.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Kaylee Wood, Tyler Wood, Daniel Roysden, Keenan Darby, Joshua Darby, Ashley Darby and James Troy Beagin and her great grandchildren McKenzii, Ethan and Kayleena.

The family of Mrs. Beagin will receive friends at J.C.
