Mr. Bert Kilpatrick of Covington passed away Sept. 22. Mr. Kilpatrick was an U.S. Army veteran and served in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife Jewell Kilpatrick and is survived by his daughter Carol Brown and her husband Tommy of Fayetteville; sons James Kilpatrick and his wife Judy of Covington, Sammy P. Flynt of Tyrone; brother, Harold Kilpatrick; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today, Sept. 25, at the chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with the Rev. Clifton Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
