Anthony John Drewry of Covington, passed away January 4, 2013, at the age of 73. He led a charmed life. Among his many achievements, he was a Captain in the US Air Force, received the Distinguished Flying Cross for his service in the Vietnam War, flew as a Captain for
Delta for 32 years, and traveled all over the world. His greatest joys are those that have survived him. His friendships were life-long as well, and he will be missed by the Birthday Club and his Air Force buddies.
Survivors include the love of his life, Melody Mason Drewry, who he was fortunate to have been married to for 45 years; three loving daughters, three devoted sons-in-law, eight grandchildren; as well as a brother in Louisville.
Services will be held Sunday, January 6, 3 p.m, at The Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 2-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Wounded Warrior Project at http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
