Ms. Ann Elizabeth Irick Spencer of Snellville, died peacefully in her sleep April 5, at The Mews of Social Circle retirement home. She was born on Dec. 23, 1924 on Toler Creek, Ky., to Albert Sidney and Loutisha Keathley Irick.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother. She enjoyed walking, gardening, sewing, reading, studying history and traveling.

She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and had a wonderful sense of humor.

She attended both Pine Mountain Settlement School and Pikeville High School and College. She worked as a telephone operator in Ohio and Georgia for Southern Bell and after her children were grown, she became a hair stylist at J.C.Penney.

Ms. Spencer is survived by her daughter Regina Breed of Conyers; daughter and son-in-law Celina Marie and Wayne Haynie of Mansfield; Valina and Amporo Saldierna; daughter and son-in-law Melina and Chris Hornibrook of Monticello; grandchildren Cindy Cannon, Chere Spencer, Melanie Hornibrook, Melissa Breed, Graylon Haynie, Christopher Hornibrook Jr., Brandi Saldierna, Alle Haynie; great-grandchild Cheyenne Letisha Cannon; great-niece Deena Jo Baker and several other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father Albert and Loutisha Irick; brothers Betha Irick, Gether Irick, Carmel Irick, Mason Irick, Herman Irick; sisters Naulia Howell, Flora Moore, Peggy Wright and Alice Hall.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 13, at the end of Akers Branch in Harold, Ky., with the Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be at Irick Family Cemetery on Toler Creek.
