Mr. Andrew "Jack" Walden, 84, of Covington, passed away Jan. 22. He was a dedicated father, devoted husband and loving caretaker to his wife Leola.

Mr. Walden loved his family and enjoyed singing with his wife. He loved flowers, animals and spending time on his computer. He was a retired mail carrier and a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Lou Dimsdale and his brothers Eugene Walden and W.H. Walden.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years Leola Walden; daughters and sons-
in-law Ramona and David McCullough, Pat Dimsdale, Jerry and Barry Prickett, Andria and Dennis Fordham, all of Covington; sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Walter Hegwood; brothers and sisters-in-law Roy and Betty Walden, Troy and Pat Walden, Edward Walden, Larry and Sandra Walden; sisters-in-law Linda Walden, Mildred Walden; grandchildren Slade and Sandy McCullough, Harlan and Heather McCullough, Keith and Loquita Buckhault, Chuck and Leslie Prickett, Clay Prickett, Jake and Katie Davis; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Jan. 24, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jeff Hegwood officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
