Alison M. (Bell) Campbell, 56, of Covington died tragically Jan. 28. She was born in 1955 in Fulton County. She was preceded in death by grandparents Robert and Dorothy Jamieson and parents Walter McCoy and Carol Bowman. Mrs. Campbell was a dedicated employee of the Conyers Walmart for 13 years until the late 2000s. She was a bright, loving woman. Her greatest accomplishments in life were her grandchildren. She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, grandma, aunt and friend. Mrs. Campbell always welcomed everyone with open arms.

She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years Michael Campbell of Covington; son and daughter-in-law Eric and Melissa McCoy of Conyers; daughters Stephanie Watson of Covington, Shandrell Renae Haines of Covington; step-son and daughter-in-law Travis and Shannon Campbell of Covington; step-daughter Tammy Campbell of Covington; brother and sister-in-law Walter (Chip) and Melissa McCoy of Winder; sister and brother-in-law Terri and Jr. Pruitt of Covington; sister Robin McCoy of Conyers; brother Bruce McCoy of Covington; brother and sister-in-law Donna and James Taffar of McDonough; brother and sister-in-law Charles and Vera Campbell; eight grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and close family and friends.

Services will be held at Eastside Baptist Church, 1070 Keys Ferry Road, McDonough at 6 p.m. Feb. 2. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Send flowers to Metro Embalming and Crematory.
