A Covington police officer responded to a call of fraud. Pauline Sullivan stated that a female had called claiming to be with an insurance company.

The woman said that because Sullivan was diabetic, a free diabetic test meter would be sent to her. To receive the meter, Sullivan needed to provide the number on her Medicare card.

Sullivan gave the caller the number which is also her social security number.

Her husband then walked into the room and asked who she was talking to on the phone.

Sullivan then handed the phone to her husband who began questioning the female. When the husband began to question the female, she hung up the phone.
