Honoring those who serve: Dozens of veterans and Newton County residents crowded the square Thursday morning to pay tribute to veterans past and present at the annual Veterans Day memorial. Members of the Newton High School ROTC presented the colors and the Eastside High School Band played a variety of patriotic music during the presentation.
