Twilight star to appear at Mall at Stonecrest

In celebration of the hit book series and enormously successful movie, "Twilight," the Mall at Stonecrest will present an exclusive appearance by Peter Facinelli who portrays Dr. Carlisle Cullen on Saturday, Dec. 12, beginning at noon. An autograph fee of $25 will be charged to all fans in line. Photos will be included while supplies last. A VIP photo opportunity with Peter Facinelli is available for $40. Peter Facinelli’s distinctive and impressive performances have established him as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actors. Facinelli is currently starring in the worldwide phenomenon The Twilight Saga, the adaptation of Stephanie Meyers number one New York Times bestselling series about a young woman who falls madly in love with a vampire. Facinelli plays the role of Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the patriarch of the Cullen clan. The first film, "Twilight," was released Nov. 21, 2008, and has grossed to date over 350 million dollars worldwide. "New Moon," the next movie in the series, was released on Nov. 20, and Peter is currently filming the third installment, "Eclipse."

Peter also currently stars opposite Edie Falco in Showtime’s hit series "Nurse Jackie." Facinelli appears as Dr. Cooper, a handsome golden boy afflicted with a quirky variation of Tourette’s Syndrome. The half hour dramedy series has been picked up for a second season.

Facinelli’s versatility is undeniable and was displayed in his starring role in Fox’s sexy, one-hour drama "Fastlane" created by McG, and also his recurring roles on the HBO series "Six Feet Under." In addition, Peter appears in FX’s legal thriller "Damages," starring Glen Close, as Gregory Malina, a man who had an affair with a key witness and became entangled in Patty Hewes’ (Glenn Close) case against Arthur Frobisher (Ted Danson).

Peter’s talent was showcased in a number of feature films including Universal’s "The Scorpion King" starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Sony’s "Riding in Cars with Boys," starring Drew Barrymore and directed by Penny Marshall. Peter received rave reviews for his performance opposite Kevin Spacey and Danny DeVito in Lions Gate’s "The Big Kahuna," which debuted at the 1999 Toronto and Sundance Film Festivals.

The Mall at Stonecrest features five major department stores including Dillard’s, JCPenney, Kohl’s, Macy’s and Sears. The center offers 130 specialty stores, a 16 screen AMC Theatre with stadium seating and the Pavilion Food Court.
