Three people were sent to Atlanta hospitals Friday afternoon following an accident on Ga. Highway 11 and Interstate 20.
According to Newton County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer 1st Lt. Mark Mitchell, deputies were called to the location around 4 p.m. and when they arrived it appeared that two motorcycles and a truck had collided.
All three victims were transported to hospitals – two by road and one by air ambulance – in critical condition where they remain. According to Mitchell, charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
