COVINGTON, Ga. - Authorities are looking for whoever broke into multiple vehicles at two Covington hotels over the weekend but reportedly didn't get away with much loot.

According to multiple Covington Police Department incident reports, five pick-up trucks parked at the Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn on Paras Drive were broken into overnight Feb. 8. All five victims reported parking their vehicles Saturday afternoon or evening before coming out Sunday morning and finding their trucks damaged.

The items reported stolen ranged from a dark navy blue gym bag containing tennis shoes, socks, two skull caps and a physician's prescription pad taken from one truck, to a work binder and a phone taken from two others. Two vehicle owners reported that while their vehicles had been ransacked, nothing was taken.

CPD spokesman Officer Justin Stott said police presently do not have any suspects, but are obtaining video of the incident.
