Newton County Theme School at Ficquett will soon be accepting applications for enrollment for the 2014-’15, school year.

Applications will be accepted Monday, Feb. 3 through Friday, Feb. 7, a news release from the Newton County School System said. Applications must be hand-delivered to the school’s front office no later than 3:30 p.m. Feb. 7.

Applications can be picked up at the theme school, 2207 Williams St., or downloaded from the school’s website at newtoncountyschools.org/ncts or at the district website newtoncountyschools.org .

All applications and required documentation must be returned to the Newton County Theme School office. A potential lottery will be held in March, and notifications of acceptance will be given in April.

School officials noted that if a student is currently enrolled in the Newton County School System, only a copy of the most recent report card, a current discipline record, two proofs of residency, and a copy of your photo ID must be provided.
