An accident between a Newton County school bus and a pick-up truck sent one man to the hospital around 3:45 p.m.

According to Newton County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer, Lt. Tyrone Oliver, the accident occurred at Ga. Highway 36 and Moore's Road. The driver of the truck was sent to a local hospital with serious injuries and several children from Indian Creek Middle School riding the bus at the time were treated on the scene.
