Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is a national Greek lettered organization founded in 1911 on the campus of Indiana University. We are a non- partisan organization with no political affiliation.  The fundamental purpose of our organization is achievement in every field of human endeavor.

We are assembling Republican and Democratic Gubernatorial candidates as guest panelists who are on the 2026 ballot for the State of Georgia. This forum’s objective is to allow candidates to articulate their vision to the citizens of Atlanta and surrounding areas that have direct impact on the sustainability of our communities.  Elder J.B. Brockman, Conyers-Covington (GA) Alumni Chapter is the Chair of this committee says, “This is a non-combative environment where Issues take center stage as opposed to candidates attacking one another. It is not a debate or campaign event.” We want to foster an environment where the citizens can attend an event to hear and be informed without negativity.  The organization will also provide voter’s education information such as polling locations, voting hours and other pertinent information for attendees.

Citizens are eager to engage with the candidates to discuss specific topics that affect our community.  Some of the topics include; cost of living, Medicaid expansion, healthcare, abortion rights, small businesses, education & teacher rights, cutting taxes, public safety/crime, consumer protection, and family law just to name a few. Current event topics will be discussed as well.

A distinguished panel of elected public servants, along with other 2026 ballot candidates and community leaders will be on hand to share solutions to these concerns with the citizens of Atlanta and surrounding counties.  Invited guest panelists include the following Georgia Gubernatorial candidates; Keisha Lance Bottoms (D), Clark Dean(R), Geoff Duncan (D), Jason Esteves (D) Derrick Jackson (D), Burt Jones (R), Gregg Kirkpatrick (R,) Mike Thurmond (D).

No campaign literature can be distributed, nor any display of campaign signs, posters, banners etc.  No wearing of campaign tshirts, buttons, hats etc.
