After holding graduation at Sharp Stadium last year for Newton, Eastside and Alcovy high schools, the school system will move back Rockdale County County's mega church in Rockdale County this year.

Formerly Church in the Now, the church located on Iris Drive is now owned by Springfield Baptist Church. CITN went into foreclosure in 2011 and SBC purchased it in April 2012 after the NCSS had already decided to hold it's May graduations at Sharp Stadium.

Previously, graduations have cost around $3,000 a school when held at CITN. It is not yet known how much the price of holding graduations at SBC.

Newton High's graduation will be held first, at 8 p.m. on May 24; Eastside will be held at 9 a.m. on May 25, and Alcovy at 3 p.m. on May 25.
