The Southern Heartland’s visual art center is holding its annual fundraiser, Monte Carlo for the Arts on Feb. 9.

Time is running short to make a reservation for the Monte Carlo night, which begins at 6 p.m. at Georgia Piedmont Technical College’s Covington campus, 8100 Bob Williams Parkway.

Reservations can be made by stopping by the gallery on 1132 Monticello Street on the Covington square or by calling (770) 788-8799. A $50 reservation pays for a prime rib buffet dinner, two drink tickets, raffle tickets and a night of casino gaming.

A live auction has vacation getaways and a champagne brunch prepared by Covington’s own Lady Irene Smith. A silent auction is open throughout the evening, with art, painted furniture, original artistic jewelry and a football and 2012 team poster signed by University of Georgia coach Mark Richt.
