A 25-year-old Social Circle man remains in the Newton County Jail on charged of child molestation.
According to Newton County Sheriff’s Office 1st Lt. Mark Mitchell, Iftikhar Latif was arrested following a complaint on Feb. 16. The investigation revealed that Latif engaged in sexual activity with a middle-school aged female.
He currently has no bond set.
