Choir performance: A 50-member choir sponsored by Newton County Senior Services will perform at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 20.

The average age of members of "Voices of Wisdom" is 70, with the youngest being 61 and the oldest 84. Most members perform in their local churches, but some sing only with the Voices of Wisdom. The group debuted in a September 2010 play entitled "I Simply Say Thank You."

The choir will be performing a gospel medley as Good Shepherd brings to a close its schedule of Concerts in the Sanctuary. The event is free and open to the public, but donations toward the church’s outreach ministries in the community will be accepted.
