School system seeks input in super search

The Newton County Board of Education wants to hear from the community. In their search for a new superintendent, they have released a survey that they hope will help them figure out just what is important to Newton County in a new superintendent.

The board expects to have all of the applications submitted for the position by March 1. Meanwhile, a survey that can be accessed at http://s.zoomerang.com/s/NewtonCommunitySurvey asks everyone in the community, from parents and guardians to residents without children, to participate in the search and let them know which characteristics they believe the new superintendent should possess.

The information will be used during potential candidate interviews.
