LAGRANGE - Troup County officials say a woman died after being hit by a rock slung through the windshield of a car. Sheriff Donny Turner said the vehicle was northbound about 1 p.m. Wednesday while a Department of Transportation tractor was mowing. The sheriff says a rock was slung from under the tractor, traveling through the windshield and striking the passenger.
