Project complete: An eyesore has been turned into a green space downtown, thanks to First Presbyterian Church of Covington. The old site of the Community Food Pantry at Brown and Clark streets has been transformed into a public park, which will be dedicated at 6:45 p.m. today. Project coordinator was Gene Wallace, and there's a mural providing a background that was done by Oxford College students working with Maria Veliotis, according to a release. Left, Bolivar Macedo of Robbins Lawn Maintenance puts the finishing touches on the park on Tuesday evening.
