Porterdale volunteer fire dept. looking for vendors

The Porterdale Volunteer Fire Department is looking for vendors to join their Spring Fling, and donations for the department to raffle off. The funds will be used to benefit the volunteer department so they can make repairs and maintain the department, which is not covered in budgets for the city of Porterdale or Newton County Fire Service.

The Spring Fling will be held from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on April 20, at the Porterdale ball field. Among the current vendors are Mary Kay, Thirty-One, Burnie’s BBQ, It Works Wraps, Perk Up and Wine Down Café, Advo Care and Paw-Paw’s fishing lures. There will also be homemade crafts, Tupeprware, origami owls and hot boiled peanuts. The event will have jumpers and live music as well, and is free to the public.

If you’re interested in being a vendor or submitting a raffle item, contact Katie Savage at 678-994-2323 or at pvfdrescue11@yahoo.com. Click on the PDF link to see more vendor information.
