Porterdale parade, wrestling today

Porterdale will host its inaugural St. Patrick's Day Party beginning at 1:30 p.m. with a parade. After the parade ends, attendees can stay and enjoy a day full of music and wrestling in the historic mill town.

There will be a spider bungee for the kids and face painting, local businesses will have St. Patty's themed food, such as green wings, and beginning at 2 p.m. the female group The Reminiscents will sing songs from the 1940s-1980s and will be playing until 4 p.m. At 5 p.m. Bluesheart takes the stage with their original music. The Rio Diamond Band will begin at 7 p.m. and play until close. In addition to music there will be Platinum Championship Wrestling from 4-5 p.m. and again from 6-7 p.m. at the old Smiley's across from Porterdale Perk.
