Porterdale residents came out to enjoy the beautiful spring day at the historic mill town's first St. Patrick's Day Parade Saturday. The day kicked off with the parade, followed by live music, inflatables for the kids and wrestling.
Dozens of children and adults lined the streets and dove for candy as it was tossed from several of the cars, wagons and bikes.
Along with Shriners and some festive residents, the Porterdale Fire Department and Police Department participated in the parade, as did Mayor Aline Chapman.
