The Covington News will be collecting new toys, canned goods and non-perishables beginning Dec. 2 at our office at 1166 Usher St.

The donations will go to support the Garden of Gethsemane homeless shelter.

We will have a donations box set up in the front office of The Covington News, and items can be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Our office will close at 3 p.m. today and will remain closed until Monday, Dec. 2, so that we can enjoy the holidays with our families. We will reopen Monday, Dec. 2, at 8 a.m.
