Floyd Street Northeast between Elm Street Northeast and Anderson Avenue Northeast will be closed between 6 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Monday, March 14 for the filming of "The Vampire Diaries'"Episode 721, "Requiem for a Dream."

The closure will also include East Street from Thompson Avenue to the East Haven subdivision, and a small section of uninhabited King Street between Hollybrook Road Southeast and Pemberton Drive Southeast.

The Floyd Street closure begins at 6 p.m., with filming expected to happen between 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Filming at the King Street location will follow immediately and could last until 5 a.m., according to Johnny Locations.

Crews will be in town beginning Sunday, March 13, for preparation work, and wrapping up on Tuesday, March 15.
